Todd & Cindy Lederman family

Celebrating 23 Years!
In 1993, Todd and Cindy Lederman planted five acres of trees on their property on County Road 39 for the sole purpose of having woods in Lederman2014_10front of their home. Several years later, more than just shade and flowering trees had taken root: the Ledermans had an idea for something new. They sold their busy excavating business and found themselves the owners of Dogwood Hills Tree Farm, where now, more than twenty years after planting their first little seedlings, they care for over thirty acres of trees.

It has been a real joy to serve an expanding community and to be a part of Middlebury with our business. The rewarding thing is, we’re making an improvement on people’s properties! – Todd Lederman

Todd and Cindy are quick to speak about two well-known Middlebury men who mentored them as they started the tree farm: Dana Snyder and Lyle Case. Snyder is a former school counselor and Case, now deceased, worked at the former Case’s Greenery and Krider Nursery. They freely shared their knowledge & love of trees and were very encouraging. We are so grateful for their guidance and tips.

Congratulations on your business milestone, Lederman family. Thank you for providing our yards with beautiful trees to climb on, swing on, rest under, and appreciate.
